Pick a template in the dashboard and the preview changes right there. All four share the search, the filters and the floating Menu button; only the style differs. Each look comes in 6 colours: Chilli, Saffron, Leaf, Indigo, Plum, Ink.

  • The price is the price you bill. The link is built from Menu & stock: Half/Full prices, options and add-ons, exactly what the Desktop App has. No second menu to type.
  • Updated within a minute. Change a price or reorder a section in the dashboard, or switch a dish off from the dashboard or the Desktop App, and nothing needs publishing. The page is cached for 60 seconds, that is all.
  • A stock-out shows, it does not vanish. Switch a dish off in Menu & stock and the link marks it “Not available today”. Switch it back on and it is back as it was.
  • Search, a Menu button, filters. Diners search by name and tap the floating Menu button for a “Jump to” list of sections. The Veg / Non-veg filters appear once every dish carries a mark. A dish you pinned in Menu & stock is shown as a bestseller, and a “Bestseller” filter appears.
  • Charge lines stay hidden. Bill-only lines such as parcel charge or packing are off the link by default, and “Hidden lines” lets you hide or show any section or dish yourself.

Setup

Three steps, nothing to install.

    Switch it on

    Open “Online menu” in the dashboard and set “Menu link is on”. The link is made from your restaurant's name, and “Link address” lets you change it. Before you switch on, the “Menu check” list tells you how many dishes have no mark, no section, or a ₹0 price.

  2. 02

    Pick a look

    Simple, Rate card, Café or Classic, and one colour. The preview on the same page shows your real menu, even before the switch is on.

  3. 03

    Share it

    Copy the link, take the QR with “Download QR”, or copy the “Button link” and “Menu inside your page” snippets for your website.

Owner questions

Straight answers.

Can a diner order or pay from the link?
No. It is the menu only: sections, dishes, portions, prices, search and filters. No cart, no order button, no payment. Orders are still taken at the counter or on a captain phone. The diner just reads the menu on their phone, with nothing to install.
Can I add dish photos?
Not yet. The link shows each dish's name, veg or non-veg mark, Half/Full prices, description and which dishes are bestsellers. Photos and a logo are not supported today; when they are, the changelog will say so.
Is the online menu charged separately?
No. It is part of the plan for trial and paid stores alike. If a trial ends without a renewal, the link answers "menu unavailable"; renew and the same link is back, with your settings kept.
Can I change the link's name?
Yes. The link is made from your restaurant's name, like menu.easykot.com/your-dhaba, and you can edit it under "Link address". The old link keeps working and redirects to the new one, so a QR you already printed is not wasted.
Why don't I see the Veg / Non-veg filters?
The filters appear only when every dish shown on the link carries a Veg, Non-veg or Egg mark. One unmarked dish hides them, otherwise a diner would get a wrong Veg list. Mark the dishes in Menu & stock; the "Menu check" list on the Online menu page tells you how many are still missing.
Will lines like parcel charge or packing show on the menu?
Not by default. Bill-only lines whose name contains charge, parcel, packing or cups & lids stay off the link. Under "Hidden lines" you can hide or show any section or dish yourself.
Do I need a developer to put it on my website?
It is copy and paste. "Button link" is a "View our menu" button; "Menu inside your page" shows the whole live menu inside your page, with an "Open the full menu" link under it. Anything that lets you paste HTML (WordPress, Wix, Shopify, or a developer-built site) takes it.
Will the menu show up on Google?
A switched-on menu has its own page title, a canonical link and Restaurant + Menu structured data, and it is listed in the menu.easykot.com sitemap. The Button link on your website counts as a link to your menu for Google. Nobody can promise a ranking; what we can say is that the page is built the way Google asks.
If the restaurant's internet goes down, does the link go down?
No. The link is served from our servers, not from your counter, so diners keep seeing the menu. Only your newest changes wait until the Desktop App or dashboard is back online and synced.
