Pick a theme — each card is a live preview

Open Settings → Appearance. Six theme cards each show a miniature register in that palette — Monochrome, the clean light default; Graphite, the same discipline after dark; Warm Paper and Velvet for warmer rooms; Marine for a cooler one; Midnight for evening service. Tap 'Use' and the till repaints instantly. Colour is the only thing that changes — every key stays exactly where your staff learned it.

Set the size your counter actually reads at

Below the themes sit four density stops — Compact, Default, Comfortable, Spacious. Density moves the type and the breathing room together: Spacious for a big screen read at arm's length or older eyes, Compact for a small laptop that needs more menu on screen. One thing never changes: the buttons stay finger-sized at every stop, because a denser till must never become a harder-to-hit till.

Shape the category rail to your menu

The last section picks how the menu's category rail works, and this one is store-wide: a Flat list for a short menu, Grouped under parent headings for a mid-size one, or Two-tier tap-to-expand for a 200-dish kitchen. Set it once and every till and captain phone follows.

Is there a proper dark mode for evening service?
Yes — three of the six themes are dark (Graphite, Velvet, Midnight), and you don't dig through Settings mid-service to get one: Shift+D flips the till between your chosen light and dark pair on the spot. Dim the dining room at seven, flip the register with it.
Theme change karun toh doosre till pe bhi badlega kya?
No — theme and density are per register, on purpose. The counter till in the window can run Monochrome at Compact while the bar's till runs Midnight at Spacious. Only the category-rail layout is store-wide, because how the menu is organised should read the same everywhere.
Do the themes change what prints?
Never. Bills and KOTs print black on thermal paper whatever the screen looks like. And the veg and non-veg food marks keep their legal FSSAI colours on screen in every theme — those are regulation, not decoration, and no palette is allowed to touch them.
Does the kitchen screen follow the theme?
No — the kitchen board always runs dark, deliberately. A pass display is read at two metres under kitchen lights, and its high-contrast dark scheme is chosen for that job, not for style. Your theme applies to the register surfaces: cashier, floor, orders, settings.
Can I make just the text bigger without changing anything else?
Density is the size lever — it scales the dish names, the amounts and the row spacing together so the layout stays balanced. There is no separate font-size slider today. If Comfortable still reads small on your screen, go Spacious; the buttons stay put either way.
